The International Engineering Fair was held for the 21st time in the Agrokomplex exhibition area in Nitra. The Fair was the biggest and the most important presentation of its kind in Slovakia and it is historically a permanent part of the European calendars of the engineering exhibitions and fairs. Also this year the fair characterized the basic trends of the further development of our engineering in the conditions of globalization and internationalization of the relations and also the trends of global economy crisis.

THEMATIC EXHIBITIONS OF THE FAIR As the previous fairs also also 21st fair was realized as a general engineering fair. Within the framework of this general strategy, the fair was divided into 23 basic commodity groups, of which some were marked as thematic exhibitions of the fair.

CAST – EX 2014 20th international exhibition of casting and metallurgy location: C pavilion and E exterior area participation of companies: 25 exhibitors

CHEMPLAST 2014 18th international exhibition of plastics and chemistry for engineering location:

M4 pavilion participation of companies: 37 exhibitors, 25 represented companies

EMA 2014 14th international exhibition of electrical engineering, measurement and automation location: F pavilion participation of companies: 33 exhibitors, 19 represented companies TECHFÓRUM 2014 2nd year presentation of research and development centers of colleges and technical universities under auspices of the Minister of Education, Science, Research and Sport Mr. Čaplovič location: A pavilion participation: 11 faculties of technical universities of the Slovak Republic.
